Maxime St-Onge is the co-founder and current President of Synemorphose inc. He holds a bachelor degree in physical activity (University of Quebec in Montreal, 1998), a masters degree in nutrition (University of Montreal, 2003) and a PhD in exercise science (University of Montreal, 2009). His fields of interest and expertise revolve around the evaluation of energy expenditure and body composition analysis. He is particularly concerned by factors that influence daily energy expenditure and it's influence on body composition. Maxime is the author and co-author of scientific publications and bears a particular interest in the popularization of science which leads him to also publish articles aimed at the general public. Generally, his articles seek to explain and demystify many myths in the field of physical activity, training and nutrition. Maxime St-Onge collaborated for many projects/successes, such as SOS Beauté (television and book) as well as emissions Vivre Plus (RDS) and Par-dessus le Marché (TVA). He is also the author of two training manuals in nutrition and exercise physiology. Passionate lecturer, Maxime gives regularly seminars in physical activity, training and nutrition. He has also been presenter at international conferences on the topic of energy expenditure, body composition and exercise training.
